Pre comms were great, we booked it in quite far in advance so we both knew what the plan was and what was expected from the shoot.

On the day we met and wandered round the woodland to see the different sets, bouncing ideas off each other, probably wayyy too many for the amount of time we had to shoot haha !

But it was so much fun, we had such a good laugh and in turn got some amazing images ! The ones I've seen so far are gorgeous!

Pre comms were spot on!! Chris sent lots of info on the weather and was on point with helping me with the planning and prep. After deciding to change shoot day, we changed location too…. Hehe! Wow! What a great result! We visited a beautiful ruin and used the location really well. Always showing me the back of camera shots , I was so pleased with the results as we were pottering around. It was a little chilly on shoot day so Chris made sure he didn’t wear his jacket to be more aware of how cold I may have been. Always popping to the car to warm up in between sets and just an all round gent!!

We finished off with some beautiful natural light images back at my house, again the images were beautiful!!

I worked with Chris for the first time the other day at one of my favourite haunts- a stunning ruined chapel set in the hills of Chepstow! It was our first time working together and I am always a little nervous, but from the offset Chris was so professional, respectful and kind to work with!

I think I was mad/brave/INSANE for suggesting to-work together on location during such cold weather in November, How-ever it was dry and the sun was shining at least, so was perfect to explore! 

Chris was such great company, a true artist with the lens and gave such fantastic direction, making the very most of the internal and the surrounds. I absolutely loved the vision and creativity he expressed and without a doubt he has taken some of the most beautiful images from my ruin trips!

Chris was extremely kind and patient whilst I navigated the ruin, tombs and climbed windows and always made sure I was happy and comfortable, allowing for plenty of warm up breaks which were greatly appreciated! Chris is one of these photographers whereby he shoots for quality not quantity and makes the very best of the surroundings quickly and thoroughly! As a result we achieved so many beautiful sets despite the biting cold! 

We finished our shoot at the old Tintern Station which was such a beautiful place to use as a backdrop! It was Chris' suggestion- and a place I hadn't shot before so a lovely new spot for the future!

Chris was super kind to share a stunning selection of images with me after the shoot which looked absolutely beautiful! So beautiful I selected 50 favourites!!

He was relaxed, respectful, considerate and friendly throughout, bringing clear and unique ideas of what he wanted to achieve and focus on in the space.

We worked collaboratively, Chris communicating his framing well so I knew what poses would best and he helped me adjust my positioning in the subtle ways that make such a difference, and we reviewed images together to improve our work - this awareness, vision and co-creation is what I always appreciate so highly from a photographer, allowing us to strive for strong and beautiful results, which look stunning!

Chris allowed for good breaks, and kept any chillier shoots (outdoors and in the cellar) to a minimum. I can happily recommend him to all !

We were able to see some BOC ( back of camera ) on his visit but, as we write, the edited versions are now starting to appear and how wonderful they are!

We can recommend Chris without reservation to anyone wishing to work with him and sincerely hope that he comes back to Two Wei soon.

The prison can be a challenging environment to shoot in, what with other groups of people, the limited light in some areas, etc but Chris took it all in his stride and was happy to let me guide him around.

He really made the absolute most of every setting I took him too and we chose together what look to go for and it was great to have his input. He used his excellent knowledge of lighting to try different set ups which totally changed the look of the place. The four hours flew by and it goes without saying we created some awesome images!!

I had my first shoot with Chris today and it was a very enjoyable one! We hit it off very well and produced some lovely landscape nude images together.

Chris has a great eye for detail, is free flowing with ideas, superb on direction and is very courteous and creative.

I was really excited to see the back of the camera and the images he was getting. The three hours flew by and I really hope to work with Chris again soon.

From my point of view, our styles and tendencies are complementary, so it's easy. He also knows his kit inside out, and this means that we can both shoot when we choose, without having delays (or competition). He is as fuss-free a tog as I've met.

And he treats models with respect, kindness and consideration - this actually matters more than how he treats fellow togs, in terms of what Purple references are for!

He's got a very good eye for detail, which is what I loved about shooting with him - you can tell that he knows what he's doing and that he loves doing it. He works effectively but in a very relaxed manner to get the best out of a shoot and I'd happily work with him again (hopefully I'll get to soon). I saw some really great images on the back of the camera and I think he was happy with the results, too.

The location we worked from was Joel Hicks Photographic where I have shot quite a number of times: Chris made an active effort to tackle ideas that were totally different and innovative. He was also really positive about my ideas being suggested into the shooting process which is a really lovely trait of Chris: he see's the model as a team member with useful pointers to add just as much as he is photographically observant of a location as he scans for killer shot opportunities. Even when we did a quick tour of the grounds upon arrival over a cup of tea - Chris was noticing things right away and his passion for carefully composing a beautiful image became evident from first meeting him. When you see him in action is uber inspiring as he's in all sorts of strange angles to get the framing of the picture exactly how he wanted it - John Duder caught some amazing behind the scenes shots in-between turn-taking and Chris can often be seen laying in various strata pointing his lens at me to get the shot! So we sure blitzed the ground/outdoors: (it was actually raining in the morning hence our first set was completed in the workshop) but after it cleared up we ventured out and I was so well looked after - coat passed over promptly in-between sets. Goes to show that mother nature doesn't have to ruin your shoot at all! We then wandered to the cabin and utilised the natural light indoors; Chris is fantastic in challenging lighting situations and this was the set where his lighting know-how flourished as it was getting the right balance of light and finding ways to hang reflectors in the most non-practical places which tested us! But all was achieved with ease, several dozen amazing images later we were calling it a wrap for our session and looking forward to seeing the epic edits, and they are rather fine indeed!

Chris is a really sweet person, totally professional with his etiquette and shows unconditional positivity and courtesy to everyone that is involved in a photoshoot. In-between hammering the awesome images, we had laughs over tea and everyone just got on like a house on fire! It really was a fun shoot and I really look forward to working with Chris again!

Simply, he's so good at what he does, so easygoing and nice, that it's always a relaxing delight to work with him.

Considerate of the model, and focussed on wonderful results.

Working with some togs, it's a race, a competition, which I find hard work. With Chris, it's all relaxed, good teamwork. It's always nicer and more productive, I find, when the two of you complement each other: we get entirely different results - even when we are shooting simultaneously.

Looking forward to Outing Number Five. Models: you will love working with this man !

This was the very first time that Chris has shot at PoZers and I'm certainly hoping it won't be his last, his photgraphy work is stunning and exceptionally artistic and just the sort of style that is right up my street. Chris was exceptionally punctual and arrived with stacks of ideas and bits and pieces for the models casting call, of a Military styled shoot.

It isn't often we have a casting placed by a model for a photographer, so it was refreshing to see how this panned out, as it is usually the photographers project, direction and wardrobe and accessories for this sort of shoot, so it was wonderful to see the model giving the photographer direction for what she wanted, and I have to say that Chris remained thoroughly professional at all times and was a total gentleman and exceptionally patient all the way through.

It was obvious that Chris had done this style before and he was a natural for directing the models poses to suit the theme, genre and her body shapes etc. and he remained a totally gentleman and professional throughout, ensuring that the model was getting the most from every shot, and willingly shared every single image with the model and myself throughout the shoot. I am really excited to see the image from the shoot, unfortunately as they are being published, I have to be patient, but this makes the anticipation even greater and I know I won't be disappointed with the finished result and I know the models going to be over the moon with them.

I really can't recommend Chris enough and I will be sharing his work with all models looking to build their portfolios, as his style, images and professional attitude is exactly how we present ourselves at PoZers. Chris is great fun to be around and really cares about the models well being, just like us. Really excited to have him back very soon. Thank you Chris and I look forward to working again with you very soon.

I had a recent shoot with Chris, the objective was fashion in natural light, the locations I wanted were in shade and Chris managed to balance the available natural light with flash and made the look very natural, his lighting skills / technical know how and camera work are excellent as is his banter during the shoot, making me feel special, whilst getting the images I wanted from the pre shoot comms.

We got on great and he gave good direction all throughout the shoot as well as frequent feedback so I could see the kind of thing we were getting for each set.
